If you didn't catch our last patch notes, check them out here

Just like Logan Paul, I’m fighting to stay relevant. So here I am with another patch notes.
In this patch, we release a bunch of small quality of life changes. Nothing too crazy but there may be a little bit in here for everyone.

Minor Changes

//follow

Here is a sparkly new command that will give you a link to our support server’s followable Tourney Bot updates channel. Follow that to get notified for significant announcements involving Tourney Bot. Including these notes. I know they’re your favorite thing about Tuesday.

//invite

So, you want to share how awesome Tourney Bot is with a friend for running Tournaments, Free for Alls, Scrims, Pickups, whatever else… Great. Me too. Now you have a command to get the invite link for the bot. How convenient is that?

Updated i18n instructions

If you are an English speaker, then Tourney Bot’s welcome message probably makes sense to you. If you are not, it can be difficult to identify whether or not you are able to change the bot to your preferred language. We’ve updated the initial invite to point to our awesome wiki which tells you how to make that change.

//lobby kick

We’ve updated the lobby kick command to allow for the kicking of multiple mentions and Discord ids at a time. Just string those bad babies on there and watch all of ‘em get kicked out. Feel the power.

//lobby delete

Yeah our bad on this one. Now Tournament Admins are able to delete a lobby and all of its channels using a command instead of relying on ye ole delete the channel trick.

Bug Fixes

As always, we are fixing bugs and improving efficiency and speed within the bot, here are some of the more notable fixes. Hit up our support server if you are lucky enough to run into a bug!

  • Fixed an issue that was causing the `Tournament Admin` role to not be automatically created, even if you invited the bot with proper permissions.
  • Fixed an issue where the tournament registration embed was not being updated after a ready up.
